Taurus has spent the last several years rebuilding a reputation that needed rebuilding, and the current guns are a different proposition from the ones that earned the old jokes.

The G3 and GX4 are legitimately good carry pistols at their price, and the Judge — a revolver chambered for both .410 shotshells and .45 Colt — has no real equivalent anywhere. Their revolvers are typically the cheapest route into a defensive wheelgun.
