Slings & Swivels

A sling is a carrying strap to some people and a shooting aid to others, and the two designs are not the same. A simple two-point carry sling does exactly one job well. A shooting sling can be wrapped to brace the rifle against your support arm and measurably steadies an unsupported position.

For defensive carbines the two-point adjustable sling has largely won: it holds the rifle close for movement, loosens instantly for shooting from either shoulder, and does not swing the muzzle around the way a single-point does when you let go. Check your attachment hardware before ordering — QD sockets, sling studs, M-LOK slots and loop mounts all need different swivels.
